Symposium Location

Ioannina is the capital of the province of Epirus (North-western Greece) and usually is called as “The city of legends & traditions”, because of the rich history of the area. The city is built on the west-shore of lake Pamvotis, and lies in the middle of a plain (600 m altitude), surrounded by mountains. The population reaches approximately 120,000 inhabitants and is the seat of the 4th biggest Greek University.  Ioannina today is a commercial and cultural centre of North-Western Greece and is famous for its popular art of golden and silver jewelleries and wood sculpture.

The Symposium will take place at the Grand Serai Congress & Spa (five stare hotel).
